Upazilla Parishad Activities
 

Financial:

1) All matters relating to council funds;

2) Proposal to impose taxes, rates, tolls and fees under the control of council;

3) Annual budget statement of council;

4) Revised budget of council;

A) Annual accounts of the council;

6) Approval of the quality and estimate of the work to be implemented by the council;

Developmental:

1) Approval of handwritten development proposals / projects and estimates;

2) Preparation and updating of five-year and annual development plans and passbooks of the council;

3) Monthly progress review of all development works implemented by the council;

All other development projects in the council from time to time.

 Operational:

1) All the officers and employees of the council including the officers / employees appointed / deputed by the government to the council.

3) Reviewing and approving the proposals or recommendations made by the Vice-Chairman.

Coordination:

1. Monthly review of development activities of various non-government voluntary organizations operating within the geographical jurisdiction of the offices and geographical jurisdiction of the council including performance report and collection of reports and sending the report to all concerned as per law;
