Language and culture

The language and culture of every small ethnic group living in this upazila is diverse. For example: Marma language is prevalent in Marma society. Similarly, there is free circulation of Bom language in Bom society, Tanchangya language in Tanchangya society, Mro language in Mro society, Khumi language in Khumi society, Khyang language in Khyang society. However, Marma, Bam and Mrod have their own written alphabets, but other communities do not have their own written languages. However, in the culture of each ethnic group, their own individuality is particularly noticeable.
